Before working a shift, be sure to double check the schedule section. This is done by:
- Clicking the drop down menu in the upper left corner
- Select "Schedule"
- Change your filters to view "Scheduled" and any other applicable job statuses
If you’re selected to work, you will receive a notification in the app letting you know that you have been scheduled and are expected to show up and work, as shown in img 1 & img 2 below:

If you work a shift without being scheduled in the Nursa App, even if a facility contacts you directly asking you to work, it could take up to a month for Nursa to get that shift verified properly and paid out.
If a scheduled shift is canceled before the start time you will not be compensated. It is the clinicians responsibility to check their schedule often and know when/where they are working.
If you request a shift and are not selected to work, you will receive a notification that looks like this:

This simply means that the facility chose a different clinician to fill the shift and you are encourage to request another job. The Nursa App allows you to request multiple jobs on the same date/time to increase your chances of being hired. Once you are scheduled for a shift it will void out your other requests as to avoid being double booked.
