Let’s say that you have a scheduled shift in the future, but one of your fabulous facility staff would like to pick it up instead.
You can manage this right from the schedule section.
Tap on the shift you’re working with to view the full shift details.
You will see two big purple buttons just below the scheduled clinician’s name - ‘cancel shift’ or ‘remove clinician.’
Click on the corresponding button and follow the steps.
If you select ‘cancel shift’ it will remove the clinician and send them a notification and also remove the job from the app completely.
If you select ‘remove clinician,’ we always ask that you try to contact the clinician prior to removal to ensure clear communication on all sides, then continue to follow the steps.
When you remove a clinician from the job card the app will automatically repost the shift for you and start looking for a replacement. Situations that you may choose to remove a clinician rather than cancel a shift might include a no call no show, a clinician refusing to work a shift, or perhaps you had a poor experience with someone and you don’t wish for them to come back. The app gives you the power to manage all of those situations right from the palm of your hand!
