The first step to using the Nursa App is to upload your license for verification. The app will automatically prompt you to add your license during the sign up process, and you can view and edit it anytime through the steps below.
If you haven't yet downloaded the Nursa App, please start with Lesson 1.
How to Add a Nursing License
- In the app, tap on the menu icon in the upper left corner
- Tap Profile
- Tap the blue + Icon on the bottom right
- Scroll to or type Nursing License
- Enter your Nursing License Number
- Choose the state you are licensed in, address, zip code
- Enter the last 4 of SSN for security purposes
- Tap Confirm
Note: RN/LPN licenses are verified through Nursys.com. If you have any problems with this validation process, please double check to ensure your license number is entered with the EXACT letters and numbers.
You can now search for and request shifts!
How to Add a CNA Certificate
- In the app, tap on the menu icon in the upper left corner
- Tap Profile
- Tap the blue + Icon on the bottom right
- Scroll to or type CNA Certificate
- Enter your CNA Certificate Number
- Choose the state you are certified in, address, zip code
- Enter the last 4 of SSN for security purposes
- Tap Confirm
Note: Because CNA licenses/certifications are state regulated, a support specialist will be verifying your license manually. This process can take up to 3-4 business days.
After you enter your CNA certification, you are able to request shifts, but you cannot be hired or scheduled until we have successfully verify your license through the state. Once your license is verified, ALL of your prior requests will be pushed through and you may be hired for a shift sooner than expected. Be sure to check your schedule in the Nursa App to know what is requested and what you have been scheduled.
If we cannot find your license, you will be asked to double check the number to ensure it is accurate. If you have any other issues, please contact support at 801-695-9609 or support.nursa.com.
